OUR MISSION

Our club promotes responsible and safe shooting, where our Canadian outdoor values and heritage are passed on to the next generation. We are proud to be a family-friendly club raising the next generation of Canadian shooters.

Our members regularly compete in competitions Locally, Provincially, Nationally and Internationally! They represent both the Barrie Gun Club, and the Canadian Shooting Sports Proudly – Since 1946!

We are proud to offer our members an incredible variety of shooting disciplines. Our 56 acre club hosts a 3-tier Junior Program – Air Rifle / .22 Rifle, Archery and Shotgun, IPSC Practices and Matches, IDPA Practices and Matches, NSSA/OSSA sanctioned events, ‘Penguin’ Skeet House League in the winter, PRS/NRL22 Practices and Matches, Black Powder Practices and Events, Cowboy (SASS) practices and events, Multi Gun Matches, Action Shotgun Practices and Matches, Bullseye Practices and Matches, Benchrest .22LR League, along with regular Ladies’ Nights, and clinics for those looking to expand on their shooting knowledge. We are pleased to offer the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) for those who are looking to obtain a firearms license. If you’re interested in obtaining your Firearms Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) or your Restricted Possession and Acquisition License (RPAL) please email us at office@barriegunclub.org to inquire about our upcoming course offerings.
